Guitar North Florida (GNF) is founded on the beliefs that:

GUITARS IN SCHOOLS
At the heart of the organization’s mission is “VIVA LA GUITARRA,” an educational program launched upon our inception with the purpose of increasing the quantity and improving the quality of classroom-based guitar instruction in K-12 schools throughout North Florida. Classical guitar and other guitar programs have proven to be a uniquely effective and engaging solution for under-resourced schools struggling to provide high-quality arts education for their students. GNF aims to make guitar education accessible to all young students, regardless of their background.
MUSIC AND HEALING
Guitar North Florida also pursues its mission through “Heart Strings,” a community outreach program that focuses on music and healing, providing individualized engagements with people experiencing mental or physical health challenges, as well as those in elderly living facilities, veterans' homes, or those incarcerated, and other individuals and groups facing difficulties.
ARTISTIC PROGRAMS
Guitar North Florida aims to sponsor youth and adult ensembles and host a variety of artistic programs, including:

Other events featuring international and local artists in
community-driven original productions.
