JCCGO is a community-based classical guitar ensemble in Jacksonville, Florida. We are a diverse group, open to all levels and ages of classical guitarists.
Participation is free and open to all that love the guitar! We welcome new members!
This group is directed by classical guitarist and educator, Dr. Brian Luckett.

The St. Johns Classical Guitar Ensemble, founded in July 2024, is a community of musicians who enjoy rehearsing and performing together. Our mission is to share the beauty of classical guitar in a large‑ ensemble setting with St. Johns County and its neighboring communities. Members also prepare duets and trios that are featured in our concerts.
We aim to grow in both size and musicianship through active recruiting and guidance from expert performers and teachers. Recently, the ensemble performed for renowned guitarist William Kanengiser of the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet and attended a master class with guitarist Sharon Isbin. The group is directed by classical guitarist and composer Chuck Rogers of St. Augustine.
The ensemble welcomes guitarists of all levels who can read music; those with developing reading skills may perform simpler parts while continuing to grow. Several experienced players and music educators—current and former St. Johns County School District teachers—contribute greatly to the ensemble’s sound and quality.
We invite you to join the St. Johns Classical Guitar Ensemble, a warm and dedicated group that loves making music and sharing it with the community.

September 1, 2026: Chuck Rogers is also starting a young person‘s guitar ensemble in the World Golf Village area:
on: Tuesdays from 6:30 to 7:30
at: Trinity Parish North
for ages: 7 to 19-year-olds
This program is part of the Young Artist Music Project, which is a great music educational program in the World Golf Village area.

WHY JOIN A GROUP GUITAR ENSEMBLE?
