At Guitar North Florida, our main purpose is to inspire more schools to establish or expand guitar programs through our Viva la Guitarra program.  Currently, many educational institutions include guitar classes and ensembles as part of their music curriculum. Even though guitar is a popular choice among students, it's common for instructors to teach guitar with limited or no formal guitar training. Due to the affordability of guitar programs, they are an excellent option for school districts with limited arts funding, as well as for homeschool networks.
